Sarah: You mean Norah Jones?

Me: What?

Sarah: Ravi Shankar's daughter is Norah Jones.

Tilt-shift miniature faking is a process in which a photograph of a life-size location or object is manipulated so that it looks like a photograph of a miniature scale model. By distorting the focus of the photo, the artist simulates the shallow depth of field normally encountered with macro lenses making the scene seem much smaller than it actually is.

The effect can be achieved optically by using a tilt-shift lens. It can also be achieved using an image editor by blurring the top and bottom of the photograph so that only the subject is in focus.

So I fiiiinally got around to organising something.

I considered captioning all these photos and telling little stories and things but I think they speak for themselves. Plus, I'm tired. All I shall say is that I had a wonderful time, despite probably drinking too much :D If you were there, thankyou so much for coming. It was wicked.

This is pretty damn interesting. I'm excited to see these supposed responses... according to the Yahoo Answers Blog he'll be posting video replies to select questions. But there pretty much isn't a question there that he could answer truthfully without getting pelted with tomatoes. I bet he'll choose the stupid ones though, like "Shrek 4? what do you think?"
